What does the term "Bank Code" mean on a cash transmittal or FASTRANS field?

Bank Code refers to the bank where the money is being deposited. Departments making regular deposits to Bank of America should use bank code "A". Departments making regular deposits to US Bank in the HUB should use bank code "G". Departments accepting credit card payments should use bank code "B".
