How does XLink work

Added 26 Jul 2008

XLink is an XML linking tool for sending and receiving business information to and from Mamut Business Software.

XML (eXtensible Markup Language) is the standard for data transfer over the internet.

XLink is a program that is installed next to the Mamut Business Software Database and is used to send and receive information over the internet to your Mamut system.

Why is it so fliexible ?

We have developed an open model, which means any developer who understands XML can use XLink to link business information over the web at almost real time into Mamut Software.

Comnunication is made over http, basic authentication with https is also supported.
