Sentences like these can be understood by the people. But how can a
computer understand? Statements are built with the syntax rules. The syntax of
the language defines these rules for building a language statements. But how
can a syntax become semantic?
This is what a Semantic Web is about. Describing the things in the way
a computers applications can understand. A Semantic Web is not about the
links between the web pages. A Semantic Web describes a relationship between the
things (like A is the part of B and Y is the member of Z) and properties of the
things (such as the size, weight, age, and the price)
